Vintage 1980 Lego train set 7740 and shunter 7860 with extra track with boxes

  

Vintage 1980s Lego train set 7740. In great working condition, with oval track.

Bought for me as a child, back in the mid 1980s and stored since earlier 1990s. Lego train & carriages(7740) it self is all as it should be with working lights and drive unit.

Recently replaced grey traction bands on the wheels, as original ones had gone hard and cracked. All Lego people included are complete and in good condition. Station platform is complete and in good condition, but with very slight discolouration to the grey deck panel and sticker on the sign board is not positioned very well, but still looks ok.

Original sticker sheet is included so some sticker could be replaced. Box is in fair condition with tears and wear marks. The green insert boxes and clear cover no longer exist. Manual/instructions, in good condition with no rips or missing pages. Power supply transformer/control unit 7864 in good working order, but the grey casing looks slightly discoloured. Includes both the rotating knob and lever type control option. Box in fair condition with instructions. Good all round condition with working drive unit with new traction bands on the wheels. The grey push rods on the wheels have some slight nicks on them, but dont deter from the function. Some stickers missed positioned, but comes with original sticker sheet so some could be replaced. Box is in good presentable condition, the clear internal sections have creases.

Manual/instructions are in good condition with all pages and no rips. 1x Manual Junction set/pair 7856. Both junctions in good working order and complete, with good condition box with foam insert. Both in good working order with good condition boxes. In good condition, but with fairly tatty box.

2x Curved electric rail 7855. 3x Straight electric rail 7854. Plus included a couple of 1980s catalogues.
