BACHMAN HO TRAIN SET (READY TO RUN) VERY BIG AND ALMOST ALL BRAND NEW IN THE BOX - JUST REMOVED FOR INSPECTION, CLEANING AND TESTING SET 8. 2 I have included 4 (1 is crossing) extra straight tracks so u can have a bigger oval!

3 I have included a trestle bridge. Locomotive and some cars are BRAND NEW IN THE ORIGINAL BOXES! Better Then NEW - SPECIAL attention to track condition. You're better off purchasing this set than a brand new set. A new set's track has set around in the box, unsealed and the air gets to it and it gets a layer of oxidation on the surface.

That means when you put your brand new train on your brand new track it may not run properly, it may even stop. It may not get enough power to start from a dead stop on the whole track because the rail joiners and areas they touch, may also have a microscopic amount of corrosion. I have verified all the couplers function properly. Automatically couple when u back the train up slowly to each car. I HAVE TAKEN ALL THE TRACK SECTIONS AND TAKEN THE ELECTRICAL RAIL JOINTERS OFF, SOAKED THEM IN SPECIAL CHEMICALS TO MAKE THEM CLEAN AS NEW AND LUBRICATED THEM WITH SPECIAL CHEMICALS SO THEY WILL MAKE A BETTER AND LONGER LASTING CONTACT THEN NEW ONES. THE FEW CONNECTORS THAT DID NOT LOOK GOOD, OR TEST GOOD, I REPLACED WITH NEW ONES. I HAVE ASSEMBLED THIS WHOLE 14 PIECE TRACK AND CLEANED IT WITH THE TECHNIQUES FOUND ON MANY PROFESSIONAL TRAIN OPERATORS'S VIDEOS BY. 1 Sanding the whole track WITH VERY FINE SANDPAPER (400, then 600 grit) to remove any oxidation present. I will include the 400 and 600 grit blocks for u to clean the tracks again in the future. (THE WASHER BLOCK and CAN OF CLEANER ARE NOT INCLUDED). 2 Rubbed the whole track with a stainless steel washer to heal any of the scratches that were created in step one. 3 Cleaned all of the debris off of the track using a chemical that cleans and protects the metal. 4 cleaned and protected the railroad ties best way to adhere ur track to the layout is with household caulking - do not use nails, u will most likely mess up the track, and break the ties. Wipe the bottom of the track off with isopropyl alcohol or equivalent before glueing down to remove my protective chemicals. 4 Ran the train a few laps around the track to verify that it can be stopped and started on each of the 16 segments, and that it runs smoothly and does not have hesitations. I have also given special attention to the locomotive. 1 Lubricated all wheel axles on the locomotive and. 2 cleaned all the eight wheels on the locomotive. 3 Verified it ran smoothly on the whole track with a dozen start/stops. 4 Verified the headlight works. 4 Cleaned any "shelf dust" off and waxed it. 5 Cleaned the 4 contacts that receive power from the wheels. I have also cleaned and waxed all 5 cars. Note: Running this many cars around pre-made small radius tracks could lead to an occasional de-railment. This is overcome by running only certain cars at a time leaving a few out, like a real railroad! I did not electrically test the railroad crossing and accompanying straight track found in the box. I pushed down on center and both arms went down correctly. I did not test the trestle bridge included.

It is new in sealed bag. I have also Tested the original throttle controller (has 6 VA output). I have hooked up the red cable to run the whole train for testing.

(Locomotive has the power and traction to pull all cars). 36 Oval (has 4 straight tracks). 12 pieces of curved track.

In same box is another piece of straight track so u can have 4 in total. Power pack and speed controller with red cable to track. Copy of the Bachman instructions included. Copy of GP-40 Locomotive instructions included. This set has the standard Couplers.
