All items in this set have been pre-assembled, well tested and run perfectly. Tender, cars, and caboose are all in good condition. Transformer is a Lionel #1033 with whistle control and accessory variable outputs too.

Tracks are 0127 and have all been cleaned on top. The drawbridge can either be operated by the remote button, or as you see in the video, a pair of Lionel #145C track contactors can be placed in front of the span and will raise and lower the deck automatically without pressing anything.

Track blocks stop the train as it approaches, and the #145C sends the signal to raise the bridge. When the bridge opens completely, a switch inside the bridge supplies voltage to the track block and the train runs under til it stops at the other approach track block, and the other #145C lowers the deck. The track gets the voltage from the bridge when lowered fully and the train proceeds over the bridge.

The layout has been expanded 18 lengthwise to fill the 4x8 but can be shrunk back down if you don't have room. Just don't use the 4 extra 9 straight tracks.
