My brother and I got this classic 1970s Lego train set with its motor and tracks when we were kids. This set is boxed, complete and comes with instructions to create the engine and 3 carriages. Boxed and complete (the set has no instructions - just ideas on the bottom of the box). This motor can be placed inside the engine with the battery compartment on one of the carriages to create a self-powered train.

I have put in some new batteries and replaced the battery contact/switch piece. Boxed and complete with one right- and one left- junction. (unboxed) two cross rails (straight track included below). 28 individual straight pieces to make 14 parallel pairs. 24 inner and 24 outer curved pieces to make 24 sections of curved track.

44 (enough to connect all the above pieces). +Track layout idea instructions, leaflet for sets #150,151,154,155. The unboxed track seems to be made up of sets 155, 150, 151 + a circular track.

The boxes show signs of wear - tape tears, scuffs & creases - but the train and motor boxes still have their inner trays with compartments. The'171' stickers are stuck to the battery compartment rather than the train. This is a great way to get lots of classic Lego train items for your collection or to make a train to go with your own Lego city. The proceeds will go to Tearfund to help with projects to provide food and clean water or other relief projects to people in need.
