Twist the bell on top of the engine to turn on the engine and headlamp. Push the "horn" button on the remote to hear "All Aboard" and train sounds. To make the train move forward, push the black button on top of the engine. Pushing the black button again does not stop the train. To stop the train, twist the bell on top of the engine or push the "arrow up" button on the remote. To make the train go backwards, push the "arrow down" button on the remote. When the train is moving forward, pressing the "arrow down" button on the remote makes the train go backwards. Pushing the "arrow up" button when the train is moving backwards stops the train. Also, the top button on the remote doesn't seem to do anything. Items are in pre-owned condition with minor wear. One piece of curved track has minor damage and functions as intended. Tender uses 6 C batteries and remote uses one 9 volt battery.
