Faller 3803 124, O Gauge E-Train Freight Train Set NOS, No Transformer

  

Includes a lighted 0-6-0 steam engine, a low-sided gondola, a tipping ore car, 14 pieces of track (12 curve, 1 straight, 1 straight with lever for tipping ore car), two toy figures, various small plastic parts for accessories and stakes for the gondola, and cleaning fluid and joiners for connecting power original end for plugging into non-extant transformer can be cut to connect to appropriate 12V DC power source. No sign of use, boxes and packaging with age-related wear and staining.

Both boxes were sealed in plastic internally, which I opened in order to test given age of models and the lack of included transformer. Believed to have been imported to the US at some point by a dealer and re-sealed after removing the 220v transformer to avoid liability. Operates on typical 12V DC power. Please note there is a lingering odor in the packaging as the original paper instructions, while the packages were still sealed, were off-gassing and have a very unpleasant smell due to their age. The boxes themselves do not retain much of the odor, but it may be somewhat strong still when opened.
