Lionel 6-1280 4 Unit AC Powered Steam 027 Gauge Train Set From 1972. It is a complete train set from 1972. It is in excellent condition and is in it's original set box.

I believe it is a completely original Kickapoo Valley and Northern set. Included in this sale are the following. 1 - Lionel #8200 0-4-0 steam dockside switcher locomotive, with an AC pullmor motor, that has a working headlight and a 2 position e unit, which allows it to run in forward and reverse directions controlled from the transformer. 1 - Lionel #9030-10 4 wheel gondola car.

1 - Lionel #9330-10 4 wheel manually operated dump car. 1 - Lionel 9087-10 Kickapoo Valley and Northern 4 wheel bobber caboose.

1 - Lionel # 4150 7.5 VA transformer with a speed control, a push to reverse terminal, a Lionel CTC track power connector, 110 volt power cord and a 2 conductor track power cable. 8 - 027 curved track sections.

2 - 027 straight track sections. 1 - Standard operating instruction booklet, and some old Lionel literature. 1 - Track polishing pad.

I completely assembled the set and tested everything. All parts of the train are in excellent condition and it operates perfectly, however, there is some minor playwear. The set box itself is also in excellent condition, I applied a coat of clear urethane to the box cover to extend it's lifespan. The track does have some light rust and tarnish.

I lightly cleaned them, made sure each track has 3 pins and the train runs nicely on these tracks. I also included a track polishing pad for maintenance.

Overall, this is a great basic train set and is ready to set up and play with.
