Lionel #8111 DT&I NW-2, Complete O / O27 Gauge Diesel Freight Train Set

  

All train and operating components are in good condition, and everything in the set works as it should. The tracks are all O27 and are in good condition as well. Included in this sale are the following.

1 - Lionel #8111 NW-2 diesel locomotive with a powerful pullmor motor, a 2 position e unit which allows it to operate in forward and reverse directions controlled from the transformer, working headlight and lens / cab light and decorative horn and radio wheel. The 8111 was built from 1972 to 1974. 1 - Lionel #6462 New York Central 8 wheel long gondola with a scrap metal train rail load. The 6462 was built from 1949 to 1954. 1 - Lionel #6460 NYC Bucyrus Erie 8 wheel operating crane car.

The 6460 was built from 1952 to 1954. 1 - Lionel #NP9268 illuminated 8 wheel bay window caboose.

1 - Lionel #4851 15 VA transformer with a speed control, a push to reverse terminal, a 120 volt power cord with wall plug and a 2 conductor track power cable with a Lionel CTC connector to connect to the track. The 4851 was built from 1985 to 1991 and again from 1994 to 1996.

8- Lionel O27 brown tie curved track sections. 4 - Lionel O27 brown tie straight track sections. 1 - Track polishing pad.

1 - Standard operating instruction booklet. I completely assembled the set and tested everything. All of the train components are in very good condition. The gondola has some deformation on one side, which makes it appropriate for use in hauling scrap iron. The tracks are in good condition, with some light rust and tarnish, I lightly cleaned them and made sure each has 3 pins and the train runs nicely on them. This train is a nice addition to any collection and is ready to set up and play with.
