This is a Marx Happi-Time Electric Train Set with NYC Plastic Steam Locomotive and Tin Litho Cars. Black plastic #400 steam locomotive with functioning headlight - did not operate in reverse when tested.

Black plastic tender lettered NEW YORK CENTRAL. Gold tin litho Union Tank Car Co. Brown tin litho Union Pacific cattle/stock car #59. Red/silver tin litho NYC 20102 caboose.

Multiple sections of O-gauge metal track (straights and curves). Marx Plastic Railroad Station kit complete with original box and accessories such as signs and people figures. 1209 - Does not operate properly. Original Happi-Time Electric Train outer box. CONDITION DETAILS : The locomotive was tested with a spare transformer and runs smoothly forward with its headlight working; it did not operate in reverse when tested.

All tin cars are in very good condition with bright, clean lithography and appear to have seen little use. The included Marx transformer does not function properly (erratic vom readings) - an inexpensive replacement is recommended for full operation.
