Marx Train'N Turnpike Set #71540 (Union Pacific). Union Pacific F3-A Diesel And Train'N Turnpike Slot Car Set.

Has all-wheel drive via truck-connecting drive shaft. Red Western Maryland hopper; white Hydrocarbon Rocket Fuel tank car with black frame; Lehigh Portland Cement covered hopper; tuscan. Road Cars: (2) Cars - Green Corvette, Red Chevy.

I believe these are the original cars issued with this set. Train Track: 12 curve, 5 straight - enough for a loop of track that includes the crossing.

Road Track: 4 curve, 7 straight, 1 combo train/road cross track - enough for a loop of track. Some of the track pieces are missing the alignment nibs. Road Track guard rails: 4 guard rails but some are missing the nibs that attach them to the track. (2) Slot Car Controllers (do not work well) AC to DC Converter Track Clips. I believe this a complete set, including instructions!

The Locomotive and all train cars are in great, gently used condition. The engine works great, as shown in the video.

However, the screw-in light bulb is missing. The track is the correct gauge but is made of hollow steel rail joined with pins.

Both slot cars were tested with a HO power supply and are operational. Their tires are not hard. The slot car throttles are in bad shape, but a regular HO train throttle could be used instead.

Track could use cleaning to improve electrical connection.
