Massive Vtg. Early 46-53's American Flyer Train Set Lot Trains, Track, Buildings

  
Gilbert American Flyer S scale trains, tracks, buildings and many other accessories. If you notice anything wrong in my description, please let us know. NOTE: Grading is very subjective and is based solely on appearance.

I will carefully wrap and package each piece and everything safely. Vintage S Gauge (1946-53's) MFD. American Flyer Train Erie #7210 with Cable Reel #636 (12 Wheel Depressed Center Flat Car) Gray & Yellow colored.

Content detail parts, paint & markings/graphics are bright and clear. No cracks, rust or broken pieces. Has a few small minor scrapes and rubs from use.

It is in excellent condition. Steps and both Brake- wheels on top are present.

Trucks are solidly attached and rolls great. Comes with it's original box. Box is missing one tab end. American Flyer Train Shell, silver colored, Oil Tanker Train S.

Has a few small nicks & scratches from use. Both ladders, handrails are present. American Flyer Train #631 T&P (Texas & Pacific). Has a few minor scrapes and rubs from use. It's inside the box.

American Flyer Train Lehigh New England #632. LNE in white letters, logo in white circle and red dot. All ladders are perfect, no broken rungs or braces. Missouri Pacific #629 Stock Car. Latches on both doors are present.

Side doors slide open and close properly. Box is missing both end tabs inside the box. American Flyer Train Baltimore & Ohio #633 White & Tuscan Boxcar. Both slide doors and handles are present and function properly. Has a small 1/8 crack behind the slide door above the slide rail.

Not seen when door is closed. Has a few small minor scrapes and rubs, a little paint loss from use. American Flyer Train Caboose Reading #630 w/Light illuminated Cupola Caboose (untested). Has a few small scratches from use.

All steps and metal smokestack in place. American Flyer Train #645 Work Car Caboose.

Yellow side rails were glued. Missing the tiny accessory brake-wheel on back. Metal smoke stack is present. All ladders are perfect, no broken rungs. American Flyer Train #715 Vehicle Transport Car (missing the #710 Man-oil gas truck).

It has glue residue from where the vehicle suppose to be. Yellow base turns properly to unload a vehicle. American Flyer Train #643 Circus Flatcar without loads/cages. Yellow w/ Red color lettering. Has a few small scratches, & nicks from use.

It has glue residue from where the cages/loads sit. Vintage S Gauge (1960's) MFD. American Flyer Train #24103 Norfolk & Western (N&W) Gondola open car. American Flyer Train #24403 Illinois Central I.

Orange w/ Black lettering colored. Has a few minor scrapes and rubs use.

Vintage S Gauge (1950's) MFD. American Flyer Train #981 Central of Georgia C.

Duplicate Vintage S Gauge (1946-53's) MFD. This one has some chips and cracks and broken corner piece. It is only in fair condition.

It could be used or for extra pieces for the other same caboose. The metal smoke stack is in place. Trucks are solidly attached to the underside base but missing the screws.

Vintage 1950's S Scale "Plasticville School" House Building. Missing the weathervane on the cupola. Has the two front porch lights. Has some glue residue for connecting the walls together from the previous owner.

Very bright red/white colors with white lettering. No cracks chips, or breaks. Some dust on the roof. 10.5 long x 5.5 high x 4-7/8 deep.

Vintage 1950's S Scale "Plasticville Gas & Oil" Station Building. Complete with the gas pumps and base pieces. Missing the cardboard tires cutout for the window.

Anything will work for the window. Glue residue from the previous owner was used to hold the walls together.

White /red colors with red lettering. 8 long x 3-5/8 high x 2-7/8 deep. Vintage 1950's S Scale "Plasticville Fire Department" Building. Complete with all the parts. It has a broken plastic piece missing in front.

Vintage American Flyer Railroad Crossing Signal Light Semaphore #761 with wires. Instruction Manual for Trains & Equipment with Instruction sheets for the many items listed above. Extra Train couplers, wheels, etc. Gilbert Co Model 8B Train Transformer 100 Watts with the original box (good condition).

No manual but has the instructions hookup. The unit is cosmetically in very good clean condition. It has some minor scratches on the top plate, bottom plate, & a few on the transformer side body.

No rust, dents, or cracks can be found. It has not been operated in many years, but I have "no reason" to believe it is not fully operational.

It has not been checked other than to plug it in and observe the unit was humming, the green light came on. I used my meter for testing. Readings were 0 - 7 - 15vac to the track control posts and 15vac to the constant post. Voltage steadily increases from the 7 - 15 range. No further testing was performed.

The electrical cord & plug is in very good condition and doesn't look to be dry rot, fragile fraying, cuts, or taped. It will not need to be replaced. This would be a great piece and great addition to one's collection of American Flyer.
