NIB-Boxed Hornby Dublo Set 2033 Co-Bo Diesel Electric Goods Train 2-Rail

  

Here is a brand-new, in the box Hornby Dublo Set # 2033 "Co-Bo Diesel Electric Goods Train". 2-Rail set comes with three wagons and a safety van.

Later box with the brown BK Van. The set is complete with 13 curved track sections, two straight sections and one terminal track. Assorted bagged goodies in the box. The rubber bands holding the track have since disintegrated to dust. There is no wear to the rail and all joiners appear in place. No damage noted to the wagons or locomotive. No wheel wear or play use. The locomotive needs at least one traction tire and I would replace them all to be sure. I did run the loco on 12V DC and it runs but needs lubrication. I've been told that these heavy locomotives are great runners, so I'll leave that process to a Hornby expert! The yellow box liner and cardboard buffer sleeves securing the locomotive is missing and the locomotive has been able to move slightly around in the package, however the photos attached show no scuffing, or damage. This set came from a collection with no regular movement so damage did not occur. The paint and decals look great. The overall cardboard box is stained on the top and has one unsecured side flap. Otherwise, not bad for 1964-65.

All four pieces of Hornby Railway Company literature in place and undamaged. I have large 28" x 17" x 5 boxes to protect these items from shock or damage. Tragically, this item is too heavy and too large to go international from the US via post and I was required to upgrade the service to get to you. YOUR ITEM WILL BE PACKED AND PADDED IN NEW BOXES AND VIRGIN MATERIALS THE WAY WE LIKE OUR TRAINS TO SHOW UP, AND OFTEN DON'T. I'M NOT SENDING YOUR TRAIN IN LAST NIGHT'S PAPA JOHN'S SAUSAGE AND EXTRA CHEESE PIZZA BOX TO BE SURE!

It may be funny now, but not when it's your trains that come to you that way!! A note about our packaging: We only use new boxes or cardboard. All packaging materials and Kraft box tape are renewable and recyclable.

Plastic in disposable packaging is just wrong for trains. I despise packing peanuts, so there's that too. I bet you do too.
