Original 1935 Lionel Mickey Mouse Disney Circus Train Set + Stoker. This is the famous and hard to find Lionel Mickey Mouse Circus Set from 1935 with the stoker tender and is brought to you today from the " PA TOYS OF TIMES PAST" collection. This set was released in 1935 as a bell-ringing wind-up steam circus train. The engine has not been tested on a track but when wound the wheels do move and the bell rings. The on/off switch also works. The headlight bulb and windup key are original. But unfortunately the light doesn't work as these batteries are usually dead and are not available for replacement anywhere. The two rail track that came with the set in not included with the set. 1508 Commodore Vanderbilt Jr wind-up locomotive.

1509 Stoker tender with Mickey fireman figure. Featuring many Disney characters including Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Clown, Mickey, Minnie and others. Featuring The Three Little Pigs, Donald Duck, and Mickey and Minnie.

With an elephant among other animals as well as Mickey and Minnie. This engine is a wind-up with a bell that clangs as it goes around the track. The metal body has wear, scratches and missing paint.

The tender has nice lithography. The fireman Mickey figure shows very little wear as pictured, but he is complete and in place. The stoker device works, as you can push it and make Mickey shovel the make believe coal. If you had the correct track the stocker lever in operation would hit the ties and makes Mickey seemingly shoveling coal. The Diner, 1536 Calliope Band and the 1536 Animal Car all look nice on all sides as shown with the lithography consistent but faded all around.
