1 x Gresley Brake Composite Coach No. 4237 coach in LNER Teak. 1 x R3371 Class A4 4-6-2 4468 "Mallard" in LNER garter blue. This celebratory set commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Sir Nigel Gresley designed LNER Class A4'Mallard' achieving the world speed record for steam locomotives.

It was in July 1938 that on the East Coast Mainline route just south of Grantham, on Stoke Bank that'Mallard' was recorded travelling at 126mph thus snatching the record from the German railasy by a mere 1.5mph and a record that still stands to this day. This striking set includes a representation'Mallard' as seen in the days just before the record attempt resplendent in the LNER Express Locomotive livery of the Garter Blue.

Accompanying the locomotive are three LNER teak effect coaches. This set also includes a large oval of track with sliding and buffer stop. Please note: Train set is used, preowned, but in good condition, almost new.
