RARE HO Scale Bachmann No. 290 Empire Builder Train Set Extra Track

  
290 Empire Builder Train Set. "Giant Smoking Locomotive" - Refurbished. This listing is for a pretty rare Bachmann Empire Builder Train Set in working order. All of the other sets have 5 digit model numbers. Bachmann made a variety of "Empire Builder" sets and I believe that this may have been a very early version. Most of the cars appear to not have been used and are in excellent condition. The locomotive was not in running condition when I received it. It's been refurbished at a local train/hobby shop and is in excellent cosmetic and running condition.

The Steam Whistle warehouse and transformer were tested and they are in proper working order. There are some scars on the warehouse but it's still in good cosmetic condition. The set also comes with some extra track. Finally, the set is marked as having a "Giant Smoking Locomotive", which makes it a little different from some of the other sets.

The box is in Fair (at best) condition.
