Vintage Huge Set Electric Marklin HO Locomotives Train Cars Track Transformer

  

Electric Marklin HO Locomotives (3), Cars (16), Track & Much More. Control Transformer, Wiring, Connectors, Bridge Supports, Books/Manuals/Etc, Figurines.. No odors of any kind. Has been stored in heated house.

Many of the cars appear new, & are in their original boxes. The engines all work, but could use cleaning and lubrication. Except as noted below, everything is in very good working condition, but all electrical contacts could use a good cleaning, and there are a few broken wires (easily fixed). His uncle was stationed in Germany at the time with the US Air Force. This is a large collection, and therefore difficult to capture a lot of detail in just 12 photos.

Marklin HO Train inventory (many cars/engines are still in original boxes). 2 sets of Long engine plus Coal car (4 cars in all); one set is in the original box and is labeled PASSENGER ENGINE WITH TENDER, and is marked 3003. 1 closed box car in original box. Box is labeled CLOSED GOODS VAN, WITH TAIL LIGHTS, and is marked 4506.

2 additional closed box cars (white), one labeled with Chocolat Tobler. 3 open cars, all in original box. Boxes are labeled OPEN GOODS TRUCK, and are marked 4602. 4 long low-sided cars, 3 in original box.

The 3 boxes are labeled LOW-SIDED GOODS TRUCK, are marked 313/1 , with 2 of them covered with 4606 sticker. 1 short low-sided car, presumably a shorter version of the LOW-SIDED GOODS TRUCK. Switches: 3 left (1 fixable) & 3 right.

1 4x on/off switch block. 2 4x A/B switch blocks (flaky but fixable). Gobs of wires and spare ends. Model 280 control transformer 110v US plug. A small collection of figurines, etc. Assortment of books, catalogs, manuals, etc -- some in German, some in English. Happy to answer any questions!
